Mancherial: Three-day-long ninth national soft baseball sub-junior (boys and girls) championship began at Tilak stadium in Bellampalli on Wednesday.
Soft baseball association State president Ravi Kumar said that elaborate arrangements were made for smooth conduct of the event. He stated that players from 27 states were participating in the event. He urged the sports lovers to make the championship a grand success by attending in large numbers.
The association treasurer Imanuel Dinakar, throwball association secretary Y Balaram, Taekwondo association erstwhile Adilabad district in-charge Jillepalli Venkataswamy, U-19 SGF secretary Babu Rao, senior sportsmen Ilaiah, Rajam, Nagesh, Yadanna, Narasaiah, physical directors Padma, Raj Mohammad and others were present.
