Nava Limited and LVPEI launch eye screening camps in Kothagudem
Nava Limited, in collaboration with L V Prasad Eye Institute, has launched eye screening camps for around 1,300 students from 15 government schools in Paloncha mandal under its CSR initiative. District officials inaugurated the programme and stressed the importance of student health.

Kothagudem: Paloncha-based Nava Limited, in collaboration with L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), has planned to organise eye camps for students of as many as 15 government schools in Paloncha mandal in the district.
The eye testing camps, being organised as part of Nava Limited’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, aim to cover around 1,300 students within a week. An eye camp was held at Mandal Parishad High School in Erragunta in the mandal on Wednesday.
District Educational Officer D Vasanthi and District Medical and Health Officer Dr Tukaram Rathod inaugurated the camp. Speaking on the occasion, Vasanthi commended Nava Limited’s efforts in developing infrastructure in government schools.
She also praised the initiative to organise the eye camps, highlighting the importance of prioritising students’ health, while Dr Tukaram Rathod explained the precautions necessary to maintain good health among students. Company General Manager N Suresh Chandra, LVPEI administrator C Devi Chandra Rao, CSR Manager Ch Srinivasa Rao, school headmistress P Sudha Rani and others were present.
