NCC Chief stresses tech-driven training for cadets in Secunderabad

Hyderabad: Director General NCC Lt Gen Virendra Vats on Tuesday emphasised the need to align NCC training with emerging technological advancements.
During his visit to NCC Directorate Andhra Pradesh & Telangana in Secunderabad here on Tuesday, Lt Gen Vats advised the Directorate to focus on enhancing cyber and drone training for cadets, in order to equip them with future-ready skills relevant to modern-day challenges and opportunities.
The visit was aimed at reviewing the ongoing training activities and initiatives being undertaken by the Directorate for the holistic development of NCC cadets.
NCC Directorate (AP&T) Deputy Director General Air Commodore Narsingh Sailani presented a comprehensive briefing on the structure, training framework, and key achievements of the Directorate.
Lt Gen Vats lauded the Directorate for its commitment towards nation-building and youth development through structured training and community engagement initiatives.
