Minister Srinivas Goud said the State has formulated the country’s best Neera Policy to support the toddy tapper community’s welfare and development

Hyderabad: Excise and Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud on Saturday inspected the progress of construction works of ‘Neera Cafe’ at Necklace Road.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the State has formulated the country’s best Neera Policy to support the toddy tapper community’s welfare and development. He asked the site engineer to expedite the construction works and ensure that the project is completed by November 2022.


This apart, the Minister asked the officials to ensure there is no delay in construction of the proposed Neera production and allied products research centre. He said plans are afoot to set up Neera centres in all districts across the State.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has been implementing pioneering works for the welfare and development of the community members, the Minister said in a release.
