Hyderabad: Several students who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2021 UG found questions in the physics section tough to crack. The entrance test was held smoothly at centres across the State on Sunday.
The medical aspirants found the questions in Physics to be lengthy besides requiring calculations. In the case of Chemistry, students found questions to be moderate on difficulty level with five to ten questions being difficult.
However, students had some relief with Botany and Zoology sections as the questions were easy compared with Physics and Chemistry parts. Overall, most students found the NEET 2021 to be tough in terms of difficulty level in comparison with the last year’s question paper.
“Students who have good grip on theory will do well in the Physics section. Most difficult questions were in the section A than B. This year, Physics was tough and compared to last year, the NEET 2021 overall was also was tough,” said A Yashwanth, a medical aspirant who appeared for the entrance test at a centre in Ramanthapur in the city.
Another medical seat aspirant Koushik, who appeared for the examination at Kukatpally also found questions in Physics to be tough.“Physics was really tough this time compared to other sections. Overall, the question paper was difficult in comparison with the last year,” he added.
According to Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Kukatpally, dean, D Sankara Rao, questions in Botany and Zoology were easy but lengthy. “The Physics paper was difficult and chemistry was moderate in difficulty levels. One question in the Zoology was found to be out of syllabus. As choice was introduced, the difficulty level increased this year. Students said time was not sufficient to answer all questions. As the difficulty level has gone up, scores will decrease,” Rao said.
