Their children, who live in Guntur, remained disconnected from their parents and never visited the couple. The woman was suffering from partial paralysis. Due to health issues, the couple stopped working six months ago.

Their coworker at the hotel, who visits them often, came to their house during the late evening hours on Tuesday to check on them and found them both dead in a pool of blood. Then the town police were informed about the incident, the locals said.

During examination of the scene, police found a deep knife injury on the wrist of the woman as well as strangulation marks on her neck. Similarly, knife injuries were also found on the man’s throat and wrist.

In a suicide note purportedly left by the couple, they said they were unable to bear the life’s agony, hence ending their lives. They also lamented that their two children were not caring about them after their marriage.

The two-town police booked a case and launched a probe into the incident.
