Nellore hospital chief relieved of duties over sexual harassment charges
An audio recording of conservation between Prabhakar and a girl medico in which the former was said to have used foul language, came to light on Thursday
Nellore: Nellore government general hospital superintendent Prabhakar who is facing charges of sexual harassment, was on Saturday relieved of his duties and transfered to Ruia hospital in Tirupati.
The action was taken after the reports submitted by two committees–one by the Directorate of Medical Education and another at the district-level, which were submitted to the government late Friday.
An audio recording of conservation between Prabhakar and a girl medico in which the former was said to have used foul language, came to light on Thursday. The State Women’s Commission and the state government took a serious view of the incident and initiated immediate action.
