Hyderabad: A trader’s house was burgled with cash, gold ornaments and other valuable worth several lakhs reported missing in Saifabad on Saturday.
Police suspect the role of a couple working as domestic helpers from Nepal behind the crime. According to the police, the suspected couple had joined work as a watchman and domestic help just a month ago at the house and gained the trust of the family before committing the crime. The Saifabad police have taken up investigation and special teams have been formed to nab the suspects.
Citing the incident, City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar warned citizens to be careful while employing domestic helpers, drivers and cooks at their home in view of safety. He advised downloading the ‘Hawk Eye’ app and to verify credentials of employees and workers with the help of the police.
