Hyderabad: Netizens are calling Chrissy Teigen tone-deaf for hosting a Squid Game-themed party recently. In videos and pics of the supermodel and wife of singer John Legend posted online, we can see her and her celebrity guests playing some of the lethal games featured on the superhit Netflix series.
Fans trolled the model for ‘failing to understand’ the meaning of the Netflix series by using it as a theme for a lavish gathering. In the famous series, hundreds of cash-strapped contestants accept an invitation to compete in children’s games for a tempting prize, but the stakes are deadly.
In her controversial post, Chrissy joked that her dream of “watching my friends fight to the death” came true, as she enjoyed the swanky bash over the weekend. “where do I even begin!! what an absolutely epic night. my dream came true of watching my friends fight to the death! dunk tank, musical chairs, hide and seek followed by a very riveting final game of pin the tail on the donkey. @wifeoftheparty you truly are the best and have THE BEST team ever. Thank you thank you thank you!! More pics to come (sic),” Chrissy’s complete post reads.
