Hyderabad: Senior Telugu film actor Posani Krishna Murali on Saturday urged voters of Hyderabad to vote for the TRS party in the ensuing GHMC elections.
Speaking to media here, Posani said he had seen several governments come and go, but he had not come across a leader of determination and calibre like Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in his life.
Stating that he was one among those Andhra natives who feared being sent to their native places once TRS party took the reins, Posani pointed out that no incidents of AP natives being attacked were reported during TRS regime.
“The Chief Minister doesn’t have enmity towards AP people. He always strived for development of his people. He always thought that with all resources, Telangana would see development if the State is ruled by people of Telangana,” said Posani adding that he had been resident of Hyderabad for the past 13 years and never faced discrimination of any sort.
The actor said there were water problems pertaining to drinking and irrigation in the State. But after TRS came to power, the problems were resolved completely. Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project was completed in time, 24-hour uninterrupted power supply and maintenance of law and order are some of the key points voters should keep in mind while casting vote on December 1, he added.
