New Club clinch Inter-Club snooker title with 3-0 win over Fateh Maidan Club
New Club defeated Fateh Maidan Club 3-0 in the Inter-Club Snooker Championship final at Secunderabad Club. Strong performances from Vibhas, Praveen Kumar and Murali Krishna ensured a comprehensive victory in the team event held in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad: New Club defeated Fateh Maidan Club 3-0 in the final of the Inter-Club snooker championship at Secunderabad Club here.
The New Club comprised Murali Krishna, Praveen Kumar, Vibhas and Rohit.
Vibhas scored a 3-0 win against Ajay Bhushan, Praveen Kumar notched up a hard-fought 3-2 win against Vishal Agarwal and Murali Krishna scored a 3-1 win against Niteesh.
Secunderabad Club President Srinivas Kylas gave away the prizes while Ashwin Nandan, vice-president, Sunil Bhatia, chairman of Games Committee, Jeet Patel (tournament in-charge) and the treasurer Tarun Rumanlla and former treasurer Madhusudhan Linga also graced the valedictory function.
The result: Final: New Club bt Fateh Maidan Club 3-0.
