Jayashankar Bhupalpally: A 2015-batch IAS officer, Bhavesh Mishra assumed office as District Collector here on Sunday. Prior to his appointment as the Collector, Mishra was working as the Project Officer, Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Utnoor. He also worked as Sub-Collector, Bhadrachalam.
He was welcomed by Bhupalpally Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) Srinivas, Collector Office’s Administrative Officer (AO) Mahesh Babu, Superintendent Ravi Kumar, Section Officers Sunil, Jalpati Reddy, Bhupalpally, Ghanpur Tehsildars Iqbal and Satish Kumar, District Panchayat Officer Ashalata and District Public Relations Officer (DPRO) Ravi Kumar.
Later, Mishra convened a meeting with the officials of various departments at the Collector’s office and reviewed the progress of rural development, urban development, medical and health facilities available in the district, issues related to agriculture, education sectors, land acquisition for various projects, ‘Dharani’ system and other welfare schemes. He instructed the officials to successfully implement the government programmes.
