New educational initiatives in Telangana from Nov 14

CM A Revanth Reddy has announced new initiatives to strengthen education and skills training in Telangana, including the launch of second phase of Young India Integrated Residential Schools on November 14.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has announced new initiatives to strengthen education and skills training in Telangana, including the launch of second phase of Young India Integrated Residential Schools on November 14. Another initiative will be announced on the same day, with 15,000 students across the State, for which the details will be revealed soon.

Interacting with students from residential welfare educational institutions at the State Secretariat on Wednesday, Revanth Reddy said the integrated residential schools for SC, ST, BC, and Minority students are under construction in each constituency, targeted for completion by the next academic year. He said around 21,000 teachers had been promoted and another 11,000 positions filled, besides initiating measures to provide quality education, health, and job opportunities for youngsters.


In sports, he shared plans for a Young India Sports University to develop future athletes for Olympics.

Students from residential welfare hostels of Khammam district met the Chief Minister at the State Secretariat on Wednesday, and thanked him for increasing their diet and cosmetic charges.
