Warangal Urban: P Nirmala, an Assistant Professor of English, has taken charge as the Head, Department of English, Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal, here on Thursday. She was transferred from the University Arts and Science College, Subedari, to the University College, KU campus on Wednesday as she was appointed as the HoD. She will remain in the post for a period of two years from July 1, 2021.
Prof M Rajeshwar, who was the HoD till June 30 till his superannuation, former Professor and Dean Dr Vooradi Srinivas, Prof S Latha, chairperson, Board of Studies (BoS), Dr R Meghana Rao, and Assistant Professor Dr B Deepa Jyothi were present on the occasion.
