New Registrar takes charge at Kakatiya University

Warangal: Professor of Physics Dr Byru Venkatram Reddy has taken charge as the Registrar of Kakatiya University (KU) here on Tuesday. Prof Reddy has 31 years of teaching experience with specialisation in Molecular Spectroscopy and DFT computations and Material Science. He has 41 papers published in journals of national and international repute and 3 scholars were awarded PhD under his supervision. Besides being a popular academician, Prof Byru has rich administrative experience serving the varsity as the Head of the Department of Physics, Incharge Director of Central Instrumentation Centre, Addl Controller of Exams and Controller of Examinations of Kakatiya University. He also rendered his services as the Principal of the University PG College at Godavarikhani. Teaching and non-teaching staff, scholars and students congratulated Prof Byru Venkatram Reddy on his new assignment and wished him all the best.
