New Siddipet District Library inaugurated

Siddipet: The newly built Siddipet District Library has been named after renowned poet Vemuganti Narasimha Charylu, who was famously called as Nadiche Kavyam (a walking poem) in recognition of his ability to write a poem on any given subject within a short time.
Finance Minister T Harish Rao, who inaugurated the Library on Monday, made the announcement amid applause from the public.
Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao has said the visitors to the Library can access all the digital books even from National Digital Library since it was connected with National Digital Library. Apart from creating a special reading room for the students who were preparing for competitive examinations, Rao has said that the Library authorities will make available all the books for them.
Suggesting the job aspirants to put the facility to best use, the Minister has informed the students that the library will also have books and material for the students who were aspiring to land in private jobs too.
The New District Library building was built with an outlay of Rs 3.3 crore special development funds along the Siddipet by-pass road. Meanwhile, the Library department has decided to continue the existing old library for the benefit of the citizens.
MP Medak Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Roja Sharma, MLA Farooq Hussain, Collector Siddipet P Venkatrami Reddy, Zilla Grandhalaya Chairman Lakkireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Municipal Chairman K Rajanarsu and others were present.
