New Year tragedy: Woman falls to death from terrace in Nizamabad

On Tuesday night around 9 p.m., Niharika went to the second floor to dry clothes but accidentally slipped and fell from the terrace. Hearing the crash, her family members quickly rushed to the scene.

Nizamabad: A 32-year-old woman died after accidentally falling from the terrace of her house while drying clothes in Borgam area of the Nizamabad Town fifth division on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Kaluri Niharika.

According to reports, on Tuesday night around 9 pm, Niharika went to dry clothes on the second floor and slipped and fell from the terrace. Family members heard the crashing sound and rushed to the spot.

They immediately shifted her to Nizamabad Government Hospital for treatment. However, she succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.

A case was registered and investigation is underway.
