New York’s Columbia Business School invites KTR to speak at biz meet
BRS working president KT Rama Rao has been invited to speak at Columbia Business School’s 21st Annual India Business Conference in New York on April 4. Organised by the South Asia Business Association, the event has been a premier platform for dialogue on India’s business, innovation, and policy for over two decades.
Hyderabad: BRS working president and former Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has been invited to speak at the Columbia Business School’s (CBS) 21st Annual India Business Conference (IBC) to be held on April 4 at the school in New York.
The ‘South Asia Business Association’ (SABA), the student body which is organising the conference, extended the invitation to him. The India Business Conference is a global platform for intellectual discourse on India’s business, innovation, and policy landscape.
It has been organized for the past 21 years in New York and serves as a platform for government, industry, academia, and the Indian diaspora to discuss India’s role in the global economy.
The 2026 edition of the conference will feature Zerodha founder Nikhil Kamath as the keynote speaker. Previously, prominent personalities such as Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora, and Dream11 co-founder Harsh Jain have spoken at the event.
Interestingly, the invitation from Columbia Business School comes shortly after Rama Rao received an invitation to the Harvard India Conference at Harvard University. Last year, he spoke at Oxford University during the Oxford India Week and received widespread praise for his clear and forward-thinking speech.
