Newborn baby, wrapped in plastic cover, abandoned along highway in Sangareddy

Sangareddy: Unidentified persons abandoned a newborn baby on a divider on the busy NH-65 near Sadasivapet on Sunday evening. The baby was wrapped in a plastic cover.

After hearing the baby crying, some passers-by stopped their vehicle and rescued the baby. Later, they called the police.

The baby was taken to the government hospital in Sangareddy. The police were going through CCTV footage to identify the persons who abandoned the baby.
