Newly elected MLCs take oath in Telangana Legislative Council

Under the MLAs quota, Congress leaders Vijayashanthi, Addanki Dayakar, Shankar Naik, BRS leader Dasoju Sravan and CPI leader Nellikanti Satyam were elected unanimously.

Hyderabad: Legislative Council chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy on Monday administered the oath to the newly elected MLCs, including from the Teachers and MLA quotas.

Under the MLAs quota, Congress leaders Vijayashanthi, Addanki Dayakar, Shankar Naik, BRS leader Dasoju Sravan and CPI leader Nellikanti Satyam were elected unanimously. Similarly, in the recently held Karimnagar Graduates and Teachers’ MLC elections, BJP candidates Anji Reddy and Malka Komaraiah got elected. Representing the PRTU, Sripal Reddy emerged victorious from Khammam Teachers Constituency.
