Newly married man drowns while fishing in Asifabad tank
A 26-year-old newly married man drowned in an irrigation tank at Lingiguda village in Tiryani mandal while fishing with friends. Expert divers recovered the body and police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A newly married man drowned in an irrigation tank while fishing at Lingiguda village in Tiryani mandal on Friday. Police said that Dinesh (26) drowned when he was fishing in the tank along with his friends. His body was retrieved by expert divers. He was married as recently as May 26.
Dinesh was trying to fish in a shallow part of the tank though he was not familiar with swimming. His friends alerted his family members, who in turn approached the local police. The police pressed expert divers into service and recovered the body from the tank. A case has been registered based on a complaint lodged by Kavita. An investigation has been taken up.
