Hyderabad: A newly wed man, who went missing from his house on Friday, is feared to have died in the Mangalkunta lake at Ghatkesar on Saturday. He is suspected to have been upset over personal issues and ended his life.
The man, K.Naresh (28), a private employee from Kondapur village in Ghatkesar, got married about twenty days ago and was living with his wife and parents.
Police said Naresh went missing from his house on Friday evening. Unable to trace him, relatives approached the Ghatkesar police, who booked a case of man missing and began searching for him. While the search was on, local villagers found a bike near the lake and footwear floating on the water and alerted the police.
The police confirmed his identity from his family members, with the help of Naresh’s belongings found at the spot. The police have now called in expert swimmers to search in the lake.
