Newlywed woman dies by suicide in Jagtial; Woman and daughter go missing in Rajanna-Sircilla

A tragic incident unfolded in Jagtial where a newly married woman, Bodasu Gangotri, allegedly died by suicide following a domestic scuffle at her mother's home. Married to Santhosh just weeks earlier, her sudden death has prompted suspicions from her family.

Jagtial: A newly married woman, Bodasu Gangotri died by suicide in Yerdandi of Ibrahimpatnam mandal. Gangotri, who was in love with a man named Santhosh, got married to him on August 26. It is learnt that there was a scuffle while she, along with her husband, was having meals at her mother’s home on Thursday.

Upset over the scuffle, she took an extreme step by hanging herself on Thursday night. Gangotri’s mother expressed doubts over the circumstances surrounding the death of her daughter.

Based on the complaint from the deceased’s mother, police registered a case and began an investigation.

 

Woman and daughter go missing in Rajanna-Sircilla

While in Rajanna-Sircilla, a woman along with her daughter was reported missing from Racharlagollapalli of Yellareddypet mandal.

According to police, Alakunta Sumalath married Laxman from Chinthakunta of Kathalapur mandal in 2020. The couple has a daughter Nishitha. On August 27, Sumalatha along with her daughter Nishitha went to her mother’s home in Racharlagollapalli. The next day, she along with her daughter, left her mother’s house without informing anybody.

After searching nearby areas and making enquiries with relatives, family members lodged a complaint with the police. Following a complaint from father Raju, police booked a case and are investigating.
