NGO Peace Forum distributes blankets in Adilabad

Adilabad: Peace Forum, a Hyderabad-based NGO, distributed wollen blankets to the poor people in Khanapur ward No 30 on Saturday.
The blankets were sponsored by a retired HPCL official, P.Sadu Sunder in memory of his late parents P.Yesudas and Sujanamma. Adilabad MLA Jogu Ramanna was the chief guest at the blanket distribution function. Peace Forum Managing Trustee Dayanand Haliga, Managing Trustee of Peace Forum briefed the gathering on the Forum activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Jogu Ramanna appreciated different activities like skill development, child counselling and empowerment of women and children.
He appreciated the efforts of Dayanand Haliga Forum Advisor Sadu Sunder and suggested that they should do many more programs to benefit the socially marginalized in the society.
Peace Forum was established to work towards social and financial inclusion and various socio-economic cultural, educational, health and relief activities. Zaheer Ramzani Vice-Chairman Municipal Council, Mettu Prahalad Chairman, Agriculture Marketing Committee, Addi Bhoja Reddy Chairman District Rythu Bandhu, Ajay, TRS Town President, Adilabad graced the occasion.
K.Srinivas District Mission Coordinator, MEPMA and D.Sunitha Community Organisor MEPMA were supportive and were present for the program.The program was well attended by senior citizens from Khanapur street. All the beneficiaries appreciated the gesture of distributing woolen blankets by Peace Forum.
