Hyderabad: Actress Nidhhi Agarwal faced an unpleasant situation after being mobbed by fans during the launch of a song from her upcoming film ‘The Raja Saab’, also starring Prabhas.
The event was held at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad as part of the film’s promotions on Wednesday. Hundreds of fans gathered at the mall to catch a glimpse of the stars. However, the situation turned chaotic when Nidhhi Agarwal was leaving the venue.
Several fans rushed towards her car, attempting to take selfies and get closer, with some even trying to touch her, breaching her personal space.
A video of the incident, showing the actress visibly uncomfortable and struggling amid the crowd, has since gone viral on social media. The actress reportedly found it difficult to even reach her vehicle. Bouncers on the spot pushed the crowd back and eventually escorted her safely into the car, bringing the tense moment to an end.
The KPHB Police later stated that the event managers had not taken prior permission for the public gathering and that no official security arrangements were made to control the crowd, leading to the disorderly situation. They have booked a case and are investigating.
