Around 40 craftsmen from all parts of India, including Bamboo craft, Dokra, Kutch Work, Kalamkari, Bandarulanka Sarees, Banjara Craft, Ikat, Narayanpet, Etikoppaka toys, Udayagiri Wooden Cutlery, Gollabhama Sarees, Cheriyal Paintings, Pemberti Metal, Koyalgudam Ikat, Warangal Durries, Mangalgiri, Venkatagiri, Leather Puppetry and Pashmina, took part in the expo.

The bazaar is a platform for craftsmen to showcase their diverse range of products and connect with potential buyers directly without middlemen.

In addition to artisan stalls, there is a creative display of student’s explorations done during craft cluster study. Students had also planned various fun-filled activities like junk art, face painting competition, wall art and murals, installations incorporating sustainability and having food stalls providing a festive extravaganza.

During the inauguration, the director of NIFT Hyderabad, Vijay Kumar Mantri, IAS, welcomed the chief guest and addressed the audience. And gratitude was given by Craft Cluster Initiative coordinator Shivanand Sharma.
