Hyderabad: Several parts of Hyderabad shivered as the night temperature dropped by two to three degrees on Friday night. An average minimum temperature of 17.6 degree Celsius was recorded in the early hours of Saturday with Hayathnagar recording the lowest minimum temperature of 14.1 degree Celsius.

The IMD-Hyderabad forecast that the night temperature will continue to drop for the next two days. According to the data recorded at various Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) by Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the temperature in several localities including Secunderabad, Saroornagar, Begumpet, Jubilee Hills and Khairatabad, could plummet below the normal range on Sunday. Many areas are likely to witness chillier nights on the subsequent days as well.

Meanwhile, the night temperature in the districts Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad and Nirmal had dropped to single digits on Saturday. As per the weather forecast, the night temperatures are likely to range from 8 degree Celsius to 13 degree Celsius in most northern districts of Telangana.
