Night temperature in Hyderabad likely to drop below 10 degrees

Hyderabad: Due to the western disturbance, several parts of Telangana are likely to experience cold-wave-like situations on Friday and Saturday. The average minimum temperature of 17.5 degree Celsius was recorded in the city in the early hours of Thursday with Hayathnagar experiencing the lowest minimum temperature of 14.4 degree Celsius.
According to the forecast by Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the night temperature in several parts of the city is likely to range from 14 degree Celsius to 12 degree Celsius for the next two days. In some parts, especially localities situated on the outskirts including Hayathnagar, Saroornagar, Uppal, LB Nagar and Falaknuma, the minimum temperature might dip below 10 degree Celsius. The city is likely to experience foggy mornings with surface wind between eight to 10 kilometre per hour.
Meanwhile, several northern districts of Telangana are facing a cold wave situation. As per the forecast, the night temperature in many places including Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Sangareddy, Nirmal, Mancherial, Nizamabad and Kamareddy are likely to range from 8 degree Celsius to 10 degree Celsius.
