Night temperature likely to dip in Hyderabad; northern TS receives rainfall

Hyderabad: As the city continues to witness warmer nights, the minimum temperature in Hyderabad has soared by two to three degrees in the last one week. The average night temperature of 18.4 degree Celsius was recorded during the early hours of Wednesday. The lowest minimum temperature of 15.7 degree Celsius was recorded at Hayathnagar.
However, according to the forecast by Telangana State Development Planning Society, the night temperature is likely to dip again in the city.
Areas such as LB Nagar, Amberpet, Secunderabad, Uppal, Malkajgiri and Charminar, might feel a nip in the air on Friday and Saturday, with the temperatures dropping by two to three degrees. The city will also witness foggy mornings with wind speeds of eight to ten kilometre per hour.
Meanwhile, rain added to the winter chills in several northern parts of Telangana. Districts including Kumram Bheem-Asifabad, Nizamabad and Kamareddy recorded up to 32.5 mm rainfall on Thursday night. A few parts of Adilabad district also recorded hailstorms. Many districts witnessed rainfall even on Friday afternoon, with Buttapur in Nirmal recording the highest rainfall of 28 mm.
