NIMS College of Allied Health Sciences principal appointed as member of NCHAP

Hyderabad: The principal for College of Allied Health Sciences, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Srinivasulu Siramdas has been appointed as a member of National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP).
Srinivasulu has been serving as the radiation safety officer and principal, College of Allied Health Sciences, at NIMS for 33 years. He also serves as the chief executive officer of the Society of Indian Radiographers.
On the occasion, he said the importance of allied health professions has greatly increased in today’s diagnosis, treatment, and services. With the development of technology, the demand for professionals in this field has increased, and so have the training needs.
Dr Beerappa, director, NIMS; Dr Liza Rajasekhar, dean; and Dr Shanthi Veer, executive registrar; congratulated Srinivasulu Siramdas for the appointment.
