NIMS doctors secure top ranks at National Level in NEET SS-2024
Young doctors from NIMS, Hyderabad, excelled in NEET SS-2024, with Dr. Zakir Hussain securing first rank and 11 others earning top ranks. Their success in this competitive exam highlights NIMS' excellence in medical education
Hyderabad: Young doctors from Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) have secured 12 top ranks, including first rank, at the national level National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET SS)-2024 results, which were released a few days ago.
Dr. Zakir Hussain from General Medicine department secured first rank in addition to 11 more MBBS doctors who are set to get admission into various super-specialty courses.
The other top rankers include Dr. Bhanu Chand (9th), Dr. Rohit (14th), Dr. U. Soumya (21st), Dr. Syed Khaleelulla (43rd), Dr. Krishna Kishore Somani (50th), Dr. V. Sai Spoorthi (58th), Dr. Dheeraj Anirudh (67th), Dr. Amthul Raheem Suryam (361st), Dr. P.S.N. Rajitha (420th) and Dr. AVS Sri Lekhya (456th).
NEET SS 2024, conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), is one of the most competitive entrance examinations for postgraduate medical aspirants. The examination spans 13 super-specialty streams including General Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Radio-diagnosis, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology, ENT, Respiratory Medicine, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Orthopedics.
