NIMS to launch three sub-specialty Urology clinics from January 1

NIMS will launch three sub-specialty urology clinics—Uro-Oncology, Renal Transplantation, and Paediatric Urology—from January 1. The clinics, led by Dr Rahul Devar, will operate every Friday and provide advanced care for cancer, kidney transplants, and pediatric urological issues.

Hyderabad: The Urology and Renal Transplantation wing of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) will soon launch three sub-specialty clinics, including Uro-Oncology, Renal Transplantation, and Paediatric Urology.

Under the supervision of Dr Rahul Devar, Head, Urology, the specialised clinics will be operational starting January 1, Director, NIMS, Prof Nagari Beerappa said.


The services will be available every Friday from 10 am to 1 pm at the Urology department located on the 6th floor of the Specialty Block.

Director Beerappa stated that these clinics will provide advanced medical care for urological cancers, kidney transplants, and pediatric urological issues. He emphasised that these services aim to make high-quality, specialised healthcare more accessible to the public.
