Mancherial: Nine persons were arrested for allegedly consuming banned ganja in Nennal mandal centre on Thursday.

Police seized 170 grams of ganja, six mobile phones, three scooters and a motorbike from the accused.

Nennal police said that Mohammad Mustafa, Pothurajula Akash, Shanigarapu Vinod, Jadi Sundar, Durgam Swamy, Rathnam Devender, Salluri Ramakanth, all from different parts of Nennal mandal and Zameel, a resident of Bellampalli town were apprehended for consuming at a secluded place on the outskirts of Nennal mandal.
