Nine held for gambling in Mancherial

Mancherial: Nine persons were arrested by a task force team of Ramagundam Commissionerate for their alleged involvement in banned gambling at Indiranagar in Naspur mandal centre on Wednesday night. Police seized Rs 30,970 in cash and seven mobile phones were seized from them.

Ramagundam Commissioner of Police, in a statement, said that Gummadelli Bhaskar, Rajavarapu Venkateshwarlu, Thippani Sandeep, Muddasani Sadanandam, Durgam Srinivas, Elka Sridhar, Muddangula Nagaraju, Boge Ramesh and Masu Rayalingu, all belonging to different parts of Naspur mandal were apprehended while committing the offence in a den, following a tip-off.
