Nine held for gambling in Mancherial

Nine persons were arrested by police for gambling in Chennur town of Mancherial district. Six mobile phones and Rs 9,500 in cash were seized. One more accused is absconding, and police are continuing efforts to trace him

Mancherial: Nine people were arrested on charges of gambling in Chennur town on Monday. Police seized six mobile phones and cash of Rs 9,500 from the nine.

Another accused person was absconding. The arrested include Aitipamula Prashanth, Pedakonda Naresh, Muttannapalli Sagar, Peddakonda Mahesh, Aitipamula Shankar, Adduri Premkumar, Chippakurthi Ramesh, Tagaram Santosh and Md Nizamuddin, all from the town.
