Gadwal: Appreciating the services extended by doctors, nurses and other support staff during the Covid pandemic, Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy said people, particularly the poor, will be indebted to them forever for providing quality treatment.

The Minister on Monday visited the District Hospital here and reviewed the measures in place to provide quality treatment and containing the spread of the virus. “The services being extended by doctors and nurses during this pandemic have to be complimented. Staying away from their families, they are rendering good service to the society” said Niranjan Reddy.

He appealed to the people to cooperate with officials in effective implementation of the lockdown and controlling Covid cases.

Special wards have been set up in all districts hospitals and people do not have to worry about availability of beds, he said, adding that all facilities are being provided at Covid care centres for the convenience of people. He appealed to the people to remain confident while undergoing Covid treatment. Going by the reports, Covid cases are gradually coming down across the country, he said.
