Nirmal: Basar temple earns Rs 53.36 lakh for 43 days

Nirmal: The ancient Sri Gnana Saraswathi Devasthanam-Basar saw an income of Rs 53.36 lakh for 43 days. The counting of hundials was conducted on the premises of the temple on Friday.
In a statement, executive officer of the temple K Sudhakar Reddy said that the temple registered income of Rs 53,36,176, 73 grams of mixed gold and 2.10 kilograms of silver ornaments by way of offerings by devotees from February 13 to March 28.
Assistant executive officer Sudarshan Goud, Telangana Grameena Bank staffers, home guards, members of Rajanna Seva Samithi from Rajanna-Sircilla district and Narasimha Seva Samithi of Secunderabad took part in the counting.
