Nirmal Collector inaugurates EVM, VVPAT warehouse

Nirmal: Nirmal Collector Musharraf Ali Faruqui formally inaugurated a warehouse meant for storing Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) at Yellapalli village in Nirmal Rural mandal on Monday. The estimated cost of the facility was Rs 1.2 crore.
Faruqui said the warehouse measuring 4,108 square yards was built within six months. He appreciated the authorities concerned for completing the building in short period of time. He was joined by additional collectors Hemanth Borkade and P Rambabu. Nirmal RDO Rathod Ramesh, Roads and Buildings department Superintendent Engineer Rajendra Naik were present.
