Nirmal: Superintendent of Police Ch Praveen Kumar felicitated Dodle Anwitha, a police constable and writer of Basar police station for bagging national award, Empowering IT Police with IT, here on Tuesday. It may be mentioned that Anwitha was chosen to present the award for outstanding services to the Crime and Criminal Tracking Networks and Systems.
Abbreviated as CCTNS, it is a project under the Indian government for creating a comprehensive and integrated system for effective policing through e-Governance. She won the award for quickly and comprehensively uploading data relating to the accused, crimes and relevant information reported in the district in 2020-21 on CCTNS.
Speaking on the occasion, Praveen Kumar was all praise for Anwitha and advised police to bring recognition to the district by discharging quality services to the department, by drawing inspiration from the woman constable. Bhainsa ASP Kiran Khare, Nirmal DSP Jeevan Reddy and women police officials were present.
