NIT Warangal employee innovates low-cost touchless sanitiser dispenser

Based on the ultrasonic sensor microcontroller and LED solenoid theory, the sanitiser dispenser can be made available for just Rs 800.

Warangal Urban: A low cost touchless sanitiser dispenser has been developed by V Sudhakar, a technical assistant in the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW).

Based on the ultrasonic sensor microcontroller and LED solenoid theory, the sanitiser dispenser can be made available for just Rs 800 while other products with the same specifications in the market are priced at Rs 2,000.


NITW Director  Prof  NV Ramanarao, Registrar S Goverdhan Rao and others staff members congratulated Sudhakar for innovating the low-cost sanitiser dispenser at a time when the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic is prevailaing in the country.
