NIT-Warangal to hold induction programme from Dec 2

In the wake of the pandemic Covid-19, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority has completed the process of online reporting by allocating entries in all NITs this year in six rounds.

Warangal Urban: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal will conduct an online induction programme for students enrolled in the first year of B Tech for 2020-21 academic year from December 2 to 7,  said Prof J V Ramana Murthy, student welfare Dean, in a statement here on Monday. In the wake of the pandemic Covid-19, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority has completed the process of online reporting by allocating entries in all NITs this year in six rounds.

“As part of this, an induction programme will be conducted for the students admitted in NIT Warangal to provide eminent lectures and physical, mental training programmes with experts in various fields online for a week to make them mentally strong,” he said and added that  Prof Rajiv Sanghal, former Director of IIT, BHU would launch the induction programme on December at 10 am, while Prof NV Raman Rao will be the guest of honour at the programme. The programme’s web link details will be sent to students and it will also be available on www.nitw.ac.in.
