Hyderabad: Actor Nithiin’s career best romantic action drama ‘Jayam’ completed 19 years on Monday.
Featuring actors Gopichand, Sadha, Suman Setty, senior actor late Rallapalli Narasimha, ‘Jayam’ was released in theatres on this day (July 14) in 2002.
Taking to his twitter handle, Nithiin wrote, “#JAYAM completes 19 years today.The journey of this movie will always be the most unforgettable memory. The immense support and love spread through my fans is immeasurable, a big thanks to all of them for believing in me. And special mention to my director Teja forever grateful.(sic)”
The movie also made a big impact at the box office and earned revenues commercially as well as was critically lauded for its gripping plot. The movie was further remade in Tamil by M Raja with the same title in the following year. Jayam also earned fame for music maestro RP Patnaik.
