Hyderabad: Telugu actor Nithiin’s wife Shalini Reddy has tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday. Unfortunately, his family could not celebrate Shalini’s birthday as she has self-quarantined due to the virus.

Nithiin shared a short video wishing his wife on her birthday on Thursday midnight. Sharing the moments on Twitter, Nithiin wrote, “Covid has barriers.. But LOVE has no Barriers.. Happy birthday my love. Life lo first time nuvvu negative kavalani korukuntunnanu (sic).” The couple tied the knot soon after the first lockdown in 2020.

Meanwhile, the Omicron variant of Covid-19 is spreading all over the State at an alarming rate. On Thursday evening, star Mahesh Babu announced that he has Covid-related symptoms and urged his fans to stay safe and follow Covid-related protocols to protect themselves.

Another actor Vishwak Sen, too, shared on his social media account that he has tested positive for Covid despite taking vaccination jabs twice.
