Hyderabad: A century by Nithin Nayak (107) helped Mahabubnagar defeat Gadwal by 52 runs in the Telangana Gold Cup cricket tournament organised by Telangana Cricket Association at different grounds in Ranga Reddy on Friday.

At Ranga Reddy: Cyberabad 175 in 19.1 overs (Lokanath Naik 92, J Saibabu 3/24) lost to Sangareddy 177/9 in 18.1 overs (J Saibabu 41, RS Chindaliya 33, Zakeer Hussain 3/30). Player of the match: Jadhav Sai Babu.

Vikarabad 70 in 16.5 overs (Pavan 29, Santosh Reddy 4/17) lost to Medchal Urban 81/2 in 5.1 overs (Praneeth Reddy 69, Md Sohail 2/29). Player of the match: Praneeth Reddy.

Mahabubnagar 152/7 in 20 overs (Anantha Yashwanth 38, N Vamshi 35, Aravind Mudiraj 3/31) bt Gadwal 58 in 16.3 overs (Imran 2/3). Player of the match: Anantha Yashwanth.

Mahabubnagar Rural 187/3 in 20 overs (Nithin Nayak 107, Umesh Sabavat 46) bt Gadwal 135 in 19.4 overs (M Naresh 50, B Nandha Kishor 3/23). Player of the match: Nithin Nayak.

Nagarkurnool 114/9 in 20 overs (Rajesh 40, K Sudhakar 2/12) lost to Mahabubnagar Rural 115/5 in 17.4 overs (Amar Nayak 41, Umesh Sabavat 27). Player of the match: Umesh Sabavat.

Mahabubnagar Urban 101 in 19 overs (N Vamshi 18, Ram Charan 3/9) bt Nagarkurnool 93/9 in 20 overs (Ram Charan 24, Anantha Yashwanth 3/12). Player of the match: Anantha Yashwanth.

Result: TCA Mahabubnagar Urban won by 8 runs.
