Nitika Pant takes charge as SP of Kumram Bheem Asifabad

Nitika Pant took charge as SP of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on Saturday. The 2017 batch IPS officer said she would focus on women’s safety and law and order. She earlier served as commandant of the 2nd TSSP battalion at Yapalguda

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Nitika Pant assumed charge as SP of Kumram Bheem Asifabad district here on Saturday.

Pant said she would lay special focus on protection of women, girls and law and order. She was welcomed by police officers and staff of the department. Pant was the commandant of the 2nd Telangana State Special Police battalion at Yapalguda in Adilabad before her current posting.


The 2017 batch IPS officer was posted as SP replacing Kantilal Patil, who was transferred after a stint of five months.
