Nitin Kumar and Likhita Srivastava won the mixed doubles gold medal at the Yonex-Sunrise Memorial All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament in Pune. Likhita also added a women's doubles silver, underlining the success of Suchitra Badminton Academy's training programme
Hyderabad: India’s rising badminton players Nitin Kumar and Likhita Srivastava delivered an impressive performance in the recently concluded Yonex-Sunrise Memorial All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2026 in Pune, registering a memorable outing against some of the country’s top-ranked shuttlers.
The duo displayed outstanding coordination and match temperament throughout the tournament to clinch back-to-back gold medals in the mixed doubles category, adding yet another prestigious national title to their growing list of achievements.
Continuing her impressive run, Likhita Srivastava also secured the silver medal in the women’s doubles category, partnering with Shreya Balaji, making it a highly successful tournament overall.
