Hyderabad: India’s rising badminton players Nitin Kumar and Likhita Srivastava delivered an impressive performance in the recently concluded Yonex-Sunrise Memorial All India Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament 2026 in Pune, registering a memorable outing against some of the country’s top-ranked shuttlers.

The duo displayed outstanding coordination and match temperament throughout the tournament to clinch back-to-back gold medals in the mixed doubles category, adding yet another prestigious national title to their growing list of achievements.

Continuing her impressive run, Likhita Srivastava also secured the silver medal in the women’s doubles category, partnering with Shreya Balaji, making it a highly successful tournament overall.

The players expressed sincere appreciation to Pradeep Raju, founder of Suchitra Badminton Academy, for his constant mentorship, encouragement and unwavering commitment to supporting athletes in their pursuit of excellence. His continued guidance and vision have been instrumental in creating an environment in which players are able to consistently perform at the highest level.

The players also thanked Enroe, doubles head coach at Suchitra Badminton Academy, whose vast international experience as a former member of the Indonesian national team has played a pivotal role in developing their doubles game.

Both players have been training under his guidance for a long time, and his expertise has significantly contributed to their recent success on the national circuit.

The academy’s high-performance environment, structured coaching system and athlete-focused approach continue to provide players with the platform required to compete and succeed at the highest level of Indian badminton.

“This outstanding achievement once again reflects the strong training culture and commitment to excellence being fostered at Suchitra Badminton Academy, which continues to produce and support some of India’s leading badminton talent,” said Pradeep Raju.
