Nizamabad: A 14-year-old boy lodged a complaint with Yeddapalle police station against his foster father accusing him of torturing him on Thursday evening.

According to reports, the boy’s parents passed away when he was ten-year-old and he started staying with his grandmother. One of his relatives, Srinivas, who works as a sanitation worker, adopted the boy. However, he used to harass him a lot.

A week ago Srinivas poured hot tea into the mouth of the boy injuring him seriously. His grandmother took him to a primary health center for treatment and when his condition improved, he along with his grandmother lodged a complaint with the police.

A case was registered and investigation is underway.
