Nizamabad: Nizamabad District administration has begun to implement the lockdown norms strictly and only those having passes were being allowed to move and cases were being booked against those violating the lockdown norms and their vehicles seized. Nizamabad collector Narayana Reddy and CP Karthikeya jointly supervised the lockdown, on Saturday at Nizamabad.
Officials were checking mass gatherings in the city and set up alternative vegetable markets during lockdown break time at ITI grounds and other areas in Nizamabad city. Eateries and hotels were asked to provide only parcels to their customers. Barricades have been placed on the main roads to prevent movement of vehicles.
The Collector urged the people to wear double masks while going out and to maintain social distancing norms.
