Nizamabad: Police exhumed the bodies of the 30-year-old woman and 18-month-old baby, her son on Monday from a hillock where they were buried by the woman’s 24-year-old live-in partner after he hacked them to death.

The accused Cheviti Ramulu killed the duo by hacking them with an axe on December 31 and buried the bodies on a hillock at Ghanpur village of Nizamabad district.

Bodhan DSP N Rama Rao team conducted an inquiry into the incident and exhumed the bodies and conducted post mortem at the spot in the presence of Chandoor Tahasildar Vasantha.
