Nizamabad MLA’s free meal initiative caters to Covid patients and kin

Nizamabad Urban MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta informed that free meals would be distributed at 6 places in Nizamabad city, including Vinayak Nagar, Varni Chowrasta, Nehru Park, Khaleel Wadi, Hamalwadi and Kanteshwar temple

Nizamabad: Nizamabad Urban MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta launched free meal distribution programme for Covid positive patients, people in home quarantine and for their family members.

In the memory of his father Bigala Krishna Murthy, the MLA launched the free meal programme. Last year, he organised the free meal distribution programme for the frontline workers for 41 days.

On Friday, he launched the free meal distribution programme at the MLA’s camp office and distributed food to the needy. On the occasion, he said that his father loved to perform ‘Annadanam’.

He informed that free meals would be distributed at 6 places in Nizamabad city, including Vinayak Nagar, Varni Chowrasta, Nehru Park, Khaleel Wadi, Hamalwadi and Kanteshwar temple, from 12 pm to 2 pm. If people are unable to arrive at these centres, they can get the food delivered to their home by placing a request for the meals over phone between 10 am and 6 pm on 7207392708 and 7207392709 phone numbers.

This free meal programme is useful for the Covid patients and their family members in hospitals and in home quarantine.
